KINGS OF THE DANCE London Coliseum

KINGS OF THE DANCE celebrated the male dancer and was a showcase for the virtuosity of five celebrated international dancers: Roberto Bolle, Marcelo Gomes, Denis Matvienko, Leonid Sarafanov and Ivan Vasiliev. The high spots were the strong, emotional and energy-driven performances of Vasiliev in Patrick de Bana’s solo, Labyrinth of Solitude, and Bolle in Roland Petit’s Le Jeunne Homme et La Mort, a very French late-1940’s existential melodrama.
